Men's Indoor T&F Report - Rose-Hulman Finishes First at Friday Night Invite
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Three Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's indoor track and field teams traveled to Terre Haute, Ind. to participate in the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Invitational.
 
Rose-Hulman finished first in the nine-team meet with a total of 165.33 points. Fightin' Engineer Noah Thomas won two individual events and was a member of a relay team win at the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Invitational. The sophomore swept the 60-meter dash (7.04) and 200-meter dash (22.83) with a pair of first place finishes. Thomas was also a member of the 4-x-200 meter relay team that placed first in a time of 1:33.36.
 
Rose-Hulman thrower Eric Fiacable won the shot put and set a Rose-Hulman school record in the weight throw at the Friday Night Invitational. The senior won the shot put with a toss of 14.67 meters and placed second in the weight throw with a mark of 17.46 meters.
 
Hanover College placed fifth at the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Invitational with a team total of 45.33 points. Freshman Bryce Gatewood claimed first place in the 400-meter race in a time of 52.66 seconds while Joe Sheryak tallied 11 total points to highlight the Panthers performance at the invite.
 
The Franklin Grizzlies also participated in Terre Haute at Friday Night Invitational and placed seventh with a team total of 28 points.

Also competing last week were Bluffton, Defiance and Mount St. Joseph. All school's did not post a team score.
