Dale Orem, Hanover College, Men's Track & Field (Track)
Hanover College’s Dale Orem (Princeton, Ind./H.S.) broke a 26-year old school record in the 400-meter hurdles at the Hanover Invitational and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Track Athlete of the Week.
The freshman won the event in 54.99 seconds, shattering Hanover’s previous mark of 55.75 seconds set by Ron Mueller in 1984.
In the meet, Orem also teamed with Brad Newbold, Nathan Hickman, and Justin Guilkey for a second place finish in the 4 X 400 meter relay.
