Tom Postema, Defiance College, Men's Track & Field (Field)

Defiance College’s Tom Postema (Defiance, Ohio/Tinora) won the hammer throw at the All-Ohio Championships Saturday and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the second time. 

The junior thrower won the event with a mark of 179’ 00”.  Postema earned two more top five finishes with a fourth place showing in the discus (150’ 4”) and a fifth place effort in the shot put (49’ 9”).
