Tom Postema, Defiance College, Men's Track & Field (Field)
Defiance College’s Tom Postema (Defiance, Ohio/Tinora) won both the shot put and weight throw at Ohio Northern over the weekend and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for the third time.
The junior won the shot put with a school record toss of 54’ 5.5”, which currently places him fifth overall in NCAA Division III.
Postema won the weight throw with a heave of 54’ 8.25” and currently stands No. 9 nationally.
