Manchester Men's Squad Earns At-Large Bid to NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Manchester College's men's cross country team earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Cross Country championships following their third place finish at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Saturday.

Senior Alec Womboldt (DeWitt, Mich./H.S.) finished 15th overall with a time of 25:30 Saturday. He was followed by Calvin Cook (Plymouth, Ind./H.S.), who took 34th in 26:02 and Curtis Nordmann (Bourbon, Ind./Triton) followed him in 35th place with a time of 26:06. Womboldt, Cook and Nordman were named to the All-Regional team for their performances in the race.

The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh will host the NCAA Championships, November 19, at Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wisconsin. The women's race will begin at 12 p.m. Eastern time followed by the men's race at 1 p.m. Eastern time.
