Men's Cross Country Report (Week 6) - Rose-Hulman Hosted NCAA Pre-National Meet

GREENWOOD, IN - Claremont-Mudd-Scripps won the Gibson Family NCAA Division III Pre-National Meet, featuring nine nationally ranked teams, on Saturday in Terre Haute.  Manchester University led the five competing HCAC schools with an 8th place finish among the 30 schools.

Junior Jon Caffarelli (Lansing, Ill./Marian Catholic) placed 22nd to lead the Spartans, finishing the 8K course with a time of 26:09. 

Rose-Hulman placed 22nd overall and was followed by Franklin College (23rd), Hanover College (28th), and Mount St. Joseph (30th).

Franklin's Kris Sandlin (Scottsburg, Ind./H.S.) led the HCAC contingent at the meet, finishing 14th among 376 runners with a time of 25:55.1.

This weekend will be the final tune up before the HCAC Championships at Bluffton University on Saturday, October 27.
