ANDERSON, IN - The last time Anderson University hosted the NCAA Division III Regionals meet, some of the freshmen on the team now may not have even been born.
This weekend the Ravens welcome back the Great Lakes Regional for the first time since 1994 and AU coach Scott Wilson is welcoming the race for more than one reason.
The Regional meet rotates between Ohio, Indiana and Michigan and the Ravens were lucky enough to have the committee ask them to host in 2012. The race will be run at Yule Golf Course in Alexandria, IN on Saturday and will feature approximately 500 runners from 42 different schools.
The top seven runners from each school will compete while the top five will be scored. All 10 HCAC institutions will compete at the meet. View Complete List.

"It is a priviledge to be hosting this championship," said AU coach Scott Wilson. "The quality of competition is excellent and I expect a great crowd to cheer on these runners."

There will be approximately 38 teams competing in the race, including host Anderson University. The Ravens last hosted the meet at Yule Golf Course in 1994. Spectators coming for the championship can view Fan Parking.

The men's 8K race will start at 11 a.m., followed by the 6K women's event at noon. To view the course maps go to the NCAA Div. III Great Lakes Regional Home Page.
