Men's Cross Country Report - RHIT Places First at John McNichols Invite

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Bluffton, Defiance, Rose-Hulman and Transylvania were the only HCAC programs competing last week.  Bluffton and Defiance competed at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational with the Beavers finishing 16th and the Yellow Jackets finishing 18th out of 18 teams.

Rose-Hulman's Matthew Stevenot (Hudson, Ohio / Hudson) placed second in the Small School Division with a time of 26:43.4 to help Rose-Hulman earn a first-place team finish at the John McNichols Invite.

Bluffton University's Dakota Frost (Edgerton, Ohio / Hicksville) led the way for the Beavers at the NCAA Pre-Regional Meet last weekend. The sophomore placed 12th overall in the field of 212 competitors with a time of 26:19.1.

This weekend is highlighted by the Indiana Intercollegiate meet Friday afternoon in West Lafayette, Indiana.  Mount St. Joseph will compete on Friday at the National Catholic Invitational in South Bend, Indiana.  On Saturday, Defiance and Transylvania will run at Otterbein, while Bluffton will compete at Heidelberg.
