INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Four Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's cross country teams competed at the Blue River Invitational in Shelbyville, Ind. last weekend.
Earlham College finished third out of six teams at the invitational and the Quakers were led by sophomore Noah Scherf who finished sixth with a time of 5:36.5.
The Manchester Spartans finished in fourth place as a team at Blue River and junior Daniel Baker garnered a seventh place finish after completing the 8K race in a time of 5:38.6.
Bluffton University and Anderson University also participated in Shelbyville on Saturday. The Beavers placed sixth while the Ravens did not post a team score at the Blue River Invitational.
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology participated in the John McNichols Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. The Fightin' Engineers finished third in the men's small school division and were led by junior Matthew Stevenot.
The junior led Rose-Hulman with an 8-kilometer time of 27:05 to finish seventh in the small school division at the invite.
