GREENWOOD, IN- Franklin College continued its solid play on the diamond with a sweep of rival Hanover last week.  The Grizzlies (15-15, 6-6 HCAC) have creeped into the race for a conference tournament berth after winning five of their last six conference contests.

Sophomore outfielder Kelsey Whitson (Elwood, Ind./H.S.) finished 3-for-7 with a run and five RBI in Franklin's 11-2 and 6-0 wins.  Whitson was 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and a two-run double in the 11-2 game one win.

On the mound, Adrienne Way (Noblesville, Ind./H.S.) remained perfect on the season, moving to 4-0 after an 11-2 win.  Way tossed a complete-game against the Panthers, allowing six hits and one earned run in the contest.

Franklin currently sits two games out of the fourth and final spot in the race for the conference tournament.  The Grizzlies have two tough tests this week, facing first place Transylvania and third place Anderson.
