HCAC Places Six on NFCA All-Central Region Team

STARKVILLE, MS - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference placed six student-athletes on the 2010 Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III All-Central Region team. Transylvania University placed a league-high three players on the team followed by Manchester College which placed two on the squad.

Defiance College also placed a player on the team, rounding out the six honored athletes.

One student-athlete was named First-Team All-Region.  HCAC Player of the Year Megan Mitchell (Buck Creek, Ind./Wm. Henry Harrison) earned the honor after leading her squad to a HCAC regular season and tournament championship.
