Megan Mitchell, Transylvania University, Softball (Hitter)
Transylvania University's Megan Mitchell (Buck Creek, Ind./William Henry Harrison H.S.) helped the Pioneers split four games in the Maryville (Tenn.) Invitational and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Hitter of the Week.
The freshman infielder finished the week 8-for-14 (.571) with three runs scored, three RBI, a triple, and a home run. She posted a .929 slugging percentage and added an on-base percentage of .571 during the week.
The Pioneers (2-2, 0-0 HCAC) head to Kissimmee, Florida for a nine game spring trip beginning Friday.
