Stephanie Beasley, Franklin College, Softball (Hitter)
Franklin College’s Stephanie Beasley (Ellettsville, Ind./Edgewood) led the Grizzlies offense as FC split a non-HCAC doubleheader with Hanover College and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Hitter of the Week.
The freshman infielder finished the week 4-for-9 (.444) at the plate with four runs scored, two home runs, and four RBI.
Franklin won the first game of the doubleheader 12-3 before falling to the Panthers 16-15 in game two.
Franklin (4-8, 0-0 HCAC) has a busy schedule this week, playing four doubleheaders with Adrian, Centre, Defiance, and Bluffton.
