Kristi Brown, Manchester College, Softball (Pitcher)
Manchester College’s Kristi Brown (Veersburg, Ind./Attica) finished with a 5-1 record on the week in Clermont, Florida and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week.
The senior pitcher recorded a total of 51 strikeouts in 48.1 innings of work and posted a 1.68 ERA during the week’s action. Brown also had three shutout wins over Loras and two against Grove City, while allowing 37 hits during her six games.
On March 31, Brown threw 11 strikeouts against Loras in a 1-0 win and followed that performance with nine K’s in a 3-0 complete game win over Grove City for a total of 20 strikeouts on the day.
