Kendra DeArk, Transylvania University, Softball (Pitcher)
Transylvania University’s Kendra DeArk (Jeffersonville, Ind./H.S.) posted a 3-0 record and a 0.00 ERA during the week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second time.
The junior pitcher earned three wins with a 0.00 ERA in 23.0 innings of work, while striking out 21 batters.
DeArk is now 14-2 on the year after earning wins against No. 13 Capital, Maryville (Tenn.), and Bluffton last week.
No. 20 Transy (20-6, 4-0 HCAC) faces Defiance and Manchester in conference action this week.
