Jade Kennedy, Manchester College, Softball (Hitter)

Manchester College’s Jade Kennedy (N. Manchester, Ind./Manchester) helped the Spartans post a 3-1 record last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Hitter of the Week. 

The junior designated hitter finished the week 8-for-15 (.533) at the plate with four doubles, four runs scored, and eight RBI. 

The black and gold earned a split against Huntington and a sweep over Mount St. Joseph during the week’s action. 

Manchester (19-16-1, 7-5 HCAC) sits a game behind Rose-Hulman in the race for a HCAC tournament berth.
