Shelby Wade, Bluffton University, Softball (Hitter)
Bluffton University’s Shelby Wade (Delaware, Ohio/Buckeye Valley) led the Beavers to a sweep of Defiance and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Hitter of the Week.
The junior outfielder finished the week 6-for-8 (.750) with four runs scored, three RBI, two doubles, and four stolen bases.
Bluffton (18-12, 6-2 HCAC) will face first place Anderson at home Tuesday afternoon.
