Women's Basketball Report (Week 10) - DC Wins Fourth Straight and Into HCAC Title Race

GREENWOOD, IN - Defiance College (12-6, 6-3 HCAC) continued to play great basketball and has now won four in a row following a perfect week.  The Yellow Jackets moved within a game of first place in the HCAC standings after posting wins over Bluffton and Rose-Hulman. 

Mandie White (Ottawa, Ohio/Ottawa-Glandorf) was impressive in DC's 83-71 win over Bluffton, scoring 30 points on 10 of 12 shooting and grabbing six rebounds. 

In a 61-42 win on the road against Rose-Hulman, Shavonda Price (Ft. Wayne, Ind./Southside) led the second half come back with 16 points and six rebounds on 7 of 8 shooting from the field. 

Defiance will try and remain hot this week as the Jackets face Anderson and Hanover.
