Women's Basketball Report (Week 7) - Ravens Win Two in Arizona

GREENWOOD, IN - Anderson University (5-6, 2-2 HCAC) posted a pair of wins in the desert, as the Ravens ended the holiday break with a 2-2 mark.  Anderson bounced back from losses to Defiance and Adrian with wins over Wis.-Waukesha and Arizona Christian in Phoenix.

In a 68-39 win over Wis.-Waukesha, senior center Hannah Wickard (Mina, S.D./Ipswich) scored 28 points with five rebounds to lead the Ravens.  She added a double-double with 24 points and 11 boards in a 67-57 win over Arizona Christian.

For the week, Wickard averaged 17.5 points and 7.3 rebounds, while shooting 47.3% from the field. 

Anderson will return to conference play on the road at Manchester and Franklin this week.

In other action...

No. 13 Franklin College (11-0, 4-0 HCAC) remained perfect on the season with a 69-52 non-league win over Alma.

Freshman center Lindsey Dall (Brownsburg, Ind./H.S.) led the scoring with 20 points and 5 rebounds, connecting on six of her eight attempts from the field.

The Grizzlies will face Transylvania and Anderson at home this week.
