GREENWOOD, IN - Franklin College (3-1, 0-0 HCAC) finished the week with a spotless 2-0 record, moving to 3-1 on the season. The defending HCAC champs beat Trine 53-45 on the road and finished the week with a dominating home win over Kalamazoo.
Sophomore forward Lindsey Dall (Brownsburg, Ind./H.S.) led the Grizzlies, scoring a game-high 19 points, on 6-of-11 shooting, with 10 rebounds in FC's 53-45 win at Trine Tuesday.
Dall added nine points and four boards in only 18 minutes of action in a 70-42 win over visiting Kalamazoo on Saturday.
Senior center Jess Prewett (Washington, Ind./H.S.) led the scoring against the Hornets, netting 15 points in the victory.
Franklin is scheduled to face St. Mary-of-the-Woods on Wednesday and will open the HCAC schedule at home against Bluffton Saturday.
In other action...
Bluffton University (3-0, 0-0 HCAC) remained perfect on the season, posting a 75-53 win over Wooster Saturday.
Sophomore guard Rachel DeBord (Lebanon, Ohio/H.S.) led Bluffton with 17 points, four rebounds, and three assists in the win.
The Beavers will face Oberlin and Franklin this week.
