GREENWOOD, IN - The Franklin College women's basketball team shot a season-high 56 percent from the floor in recording an 89-59 road win over Alma College on Friday afternoon. The 89 points were a season high.
Individually, freshman Mandy Fisher (Mooresville, Ind./H.S.) led a balanced attack with a career-high 17 points. The guard made seven of her 10 field goal attempts and added four steals.
Franklin (4-6, 2-1 HCAC) will return to action on Saturday, January 4 against Earlham College.

Earlham College (3-5, 1-2 HCAC) posted a 98-88 win at St. Mary-of-the-Woods last week. Sophomore guard Kasin Spay (Muncie, Ind./Delta) led the Quakers with 28 points and five rebounds in the win.
Transylvania University (7-1, 3-0 HCAC) saw its win streak reach six-straight following a 76-64 win over Roanoke. Junior guard Nicole Coffman (Liberty, Ky./Casey Co.) led the scoring with 24 points on 9-for-13 shooting. The Pioneers will travel to Scottsdale, Arizona for a pair of contests on December 29-30.
