Mandie White, Defiance College, Women's Basketball
Defiance College's Mandie White (Ottawa, Ohio/Ottawa-Glandorf) led the Yellow Jackets to two conference wins last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time.
The senior center scored 30 points on 10 of 12 shooting and added six rebounds, three blocks, and three steals in DC's 83-71 win over Bluffton. White followed that performance with 10 points, eight rebounds, three steals, and a block in only 22 minutes of action as Defiance beat Rose-Hulman 61-42.
For the week, White averaged 20.0 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, and three steals, while shooting 60% from the floor.
Defiance (12-6, 6-3 HCAC) stands one game out of first place in the standings and will face Anderson and Hanover this week.
