Sarah Condra, Franklin College, Women's Basketball
Franklin College's Sarah Condra (Nineveh, Ind./Whiteland) led the Grizzlies to wins over Bluffton and Rose-Hulman last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time.
The sophomore guard scored a career-high 29 points and added four rebounds, one assist, one block, and two steals in only 19 minutes of action in FC's 89-57 win at Bluffton Saturday. Condra scored 14 points and added 11 rebounds, six assists, and a steal in the Grizzlies' 67-45 win over Rose-Hulman Wednesday night.
For the week, Condra averaged 21.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, while shooting 51.9% (14 of 27) from the field and 56.3% (9 of 16) from three point range.
Franklin (14-5, 8-2 HCAC) stands a game behind first place Transylvania in the win column heading into Wednesday night's showdown with the Pioneers.
