Sarah Condra, Franklin College, Women's Basketball
Franklin College's Sarah Condra (Whiteland, Ind./H.S.) helped the Grizzlies win two HCAC games to clinch a share of the league title and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the third time.
The sophomore scored a game-high 28 points on 8 of 14 shooting, and grabbed six rebounds as FC came from behind to beat Defiance Saturday. The comeback win earned a share of the HCAC title and the top seed in this week's tournament.
Condra tallied a game-high 18 points and added four rebounds, while shooting 6 of 9 from the floor in FC's 76-65 win at Mount St. Joseph Wednesday night.
For the week, Condra averaged 23.0 points and 5.0 rebounds, while shooting 60.9% from the floor.
Franklin (19-6, 13-3 HCAC) will host the semifinals and finals of the HCAC tournament this Friday and Saturday.
