Mandie White, Defiance College, Women's Basketball
Defiance College's Mandie White (Ottawa, Ohio/Ottawa-Glandorf) led the Jackets to three consecutive wins last week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
The senior center scored 21 points and added nine rebounds while shooting 72.7% from the field in a 77-62 win over Wooster. White led DC to the Hubbard Co. - Pro Rehab Tournament title with wins over Albion and Wilmington and was named to the All-Tournament team for her efforts.
During the week, White averaged 16.3 points, nine rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game, while shooting 64.5% from the floor.
The Jackets (7-4, 2-2 HCAC) travel to Ohio Northern Tuesday.
