Sarah Condra, Franklin College, Women's Basketball
Franklin College's Sarah Condra (Nineveh, Ind./Whiteland) led the Grizzlies to two more conference wins and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
The sophomore guard scored a career-high 25 points and added seven rebounds, two assists, and two blocks, including five field goals from behind the arc, as the Grizzlies defeated Anderson 64-45 Wednesday evening.
Condra again led all scorers in FC's 64-51 win over Manchester to keep the blue and gold perfect in league play. She tallied 20 points and added three rebounds, two blocks, and a steal on the afternoon.
For the week, the sophomore averaged 22.5 points and five rebounds, while shooting 56.5% from the floor.
Franklin (11-3, 5-0 HCAC) will travel to Hanover and Defiance this week.
