Nicole Coffman, Transylvania University, Women's Basketball
Transylvania University’s Nicole Coffman (Liberty, Ky./Casey Co.) averaged 21.5 points and 5.0 rebounds during the week as the Pioneers went 1-1 and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The freshman guard scored a career-high 26 points on 11 of 20 shooting with four rebounds and one assist in Transy’s 65-48 win over Rose-Hulman.
In Wednesday’s loss at Hanover, Coffman led the squad with 17 points, six rebounds, and two steals.
Transylvania (6-9, 4-4 HCAC) will face Mount St. Joseph and Anderson in this week’s action.
