Nicole Coffman, Transylvania University, Women's Basketball

Transylvania University’s Nicole Coffman (Liberty, Ky./Casey Co.) averaged 27.5 points per game as the Pioneers improved to 8-0 in league play and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second time. 

The junior guard scored 27 points with six rebounds and four assists in a 101-66 triumph over Earlham Wednesday.  Coffman added 28 points along with six rebounds in a 103-77 win over Bluffton Saturday afternoon. 

For the week, the junior averaged 27.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game, while shooting 63.3% from the field. 

Transylvania (14-1, 8-0 HCAC) is scheduled to face Franklin and Rose-Hulman this week.
