Women's Golf Report (Week 5) - Rose-Hulman Leads HCAC Field at DePauw

GREENWOOD, IN -The Rose-Hulman women's golf team placed fifth among 10 schools at the DePauw Invitational over the weekend, leading the five competing HCAC squads.  The Engineers fired a two-round total of 684 at the event.

Rose-Hulman’s Peem Chanrotchanaphan (Chiang Mai, Thailand/Grace International) finished ninth at the tournament, firing rounds of 80 and 83 as the freshman earned second-team all-tournament honors.

Hanover College finished sixth, finishing 10 shots behind Rose.  Junior Brooke McKay (Carmel, Ind./H.S.) led the Panthers with rounds of 85 and 84.

Transylvania, Mount St. Joseph, and Anderson also competed at DePauw, placing eighth, ninth, and tenth in the standings.

This weekend, Franklin will play host to the Franklin Invitational on October 5th in the final event prior to the HCAC Tournament on October 12-13 at Shadowood Golf Course in Seymour, Indiana.
