GREENWOOD, IN - Hanover College earned the title at the Hanover Invitational over the weekend, claiming a team title for the third time in four tries this season. The Panthers held off Rose-Hulman by six strokes to earn the title.
Senior Brooke McKay (Carmel, Ind./H.S.) earned medalist honors to lead the Panthers lineup. The senior finished with a two-round total of 156 (77-79) at Shadowood Golf Course.
As a team, Hanover totaled 644, while Rose-Hulman finished with a 650.
Rose-Hulman sophomore Peem Chanrotchanaphan (Chiang Mai, Thailand/Grace International) finished in a tie for second place in the individual standings with teammate Ashton Foushee (Glasgow, Ky./H.S.), totaling a score of 157 at the 36-hole event.
Franklin College placed fourth and was followed by Transylvania (5th), Anderson (6th), Manchester (8th), and Defiance (10th) in the standings.
This weekend's schedule is highlighted by the Manchester Invitational on Saturday.
