GREENWOOD, IN - Hanover College led the HCAC field at the DePauw University Invitational over the weekend, placing fifth in the 16 team field. The event was held at Deer Creek Golf Club.
Hanover College’s Brooke McKay (Carmel, Ind./H.S.) finished seventh at the tournament, carding rounds of 81 and 79 to lead the Panthers to a fifth place finish. She was the highest finishing HCAC golfer at the tournament.
As a team, Hanover totaled 669, finishing 28 strokes behind champion Washington-St. Louis.
Rose-Hulman and Transylvania also competed at the event. The Engineers finished 12th in the standings, while the Pioneers placed 15th.
This weekend's schedule is highlighted by the Rose-Hulman Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
