GREENWOOD, IN - Hanover College earned the title at the Transylvania Invitational last Tuesday and won the Anderson Invitational over the weekend. The Panthers held off Midway College to earn the title at TU and beat Rose-Hulman at Anderson.
Hanover College’s Erika Shepherd (Jeffersonville, Ind./H.S.) earned medalist honors in both tournaments to lead the Panthers effort. The senior posted a five-over par 77 to earn a two-stroke win at the Transylvania Fall Invitational and carded rounds of 75 and 80 to win the championship at Anderson.
Rose-Hulman finished third in the team standings at Transylvania and placed second at Anderson. Junior Erin Scully (Arcadia, Ind./Hamilton Heights) placed second at the Anderson Invitational with rounds of 80 and 77. Her score of 77 ranks fourth in school history, and her 36-hole total of 157 ranks in the all-time top five.
This weekend, Hanover College will host the Hanover Fall Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
