GREENWOOD, IN - Rose-Hulman’s Ashton Foushee (Glasgow, Ky./H.S.) won medalist honors at the Rose-Hulman Invitational over the weekend, leading the Engineers to a second place finish in the team standings.
The Engineers finished nine strokes behind Hanover College in the team standings, while Franklin College stood 28 shots back of the Engineers.
Foushee won her first career tournament title after carding rounds of 79 and 81 at Rea Park Golf Course, holding off Hanover's Ellen Wuerch (Fortville, Ind./Mount Vernon) by three strokes.
As a team, Rose-Hulman totaled 670 strokes to place second, while champion Hanover finished with a total of 661. Transylvania finished fifth in the standings, while Anderson did not post a team score.
This weekend will be the final rounds before the HCAC Championship on October 10-11 at Aston Oaks Golf Club in North Bend, Ohio.
