Women's Golf Report - Week 3

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. ---  Seven Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's golf teams were in action last weekend.

Four institutions traveled to Tiffin, Ohio to participate in the Heidelberg Fall Invitational over the weekend. Bluffton placed 15th, Defiance placed 14th, Earlham placed seventh, and Mount St. Joseph placed third in the field of 15 at the invite.

The Mount St. Joseph Lions were led by Emma Schrand with a 36-hole score of 169 strokes and a fifth place finish. 

Hanover, Franklin, and Rose-Hulman played in the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational in Normal, Ill. last week. The Fightin' Engineers led the HCAC field with a fourth placed finish out of 16 teams. The Panthers followed with an eighth place finish, while the Grizzlies placed 15th.

Freshman Rachel Zhang led the Fightin' Engineers at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational. Zhang shot a 36-hole stroke total of 150 with a ninth place finish.
