HCAC Places Three on All-Great Lakes Region Women's Soccer Team

KANSAS CITY, KS - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference placed three women's soccer player on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Adidas All-Great Lakes Region team in a vote of NCAA Division III coaches.

Hanover College's Kaitlin McCulloch (Florence, Ky./Boone Co.) earned the conference's only spot on the second team.  The freshman defender scored a goal this fall and anchored the Panthers defense that allowed only 12 goals all season.

Transylvania's Kate McKelway (Lexington, Ky./Catholic) and Katie Kelly (Lexington, Ky./Lafayette) were named as third team members.  McKelway, a senior back for the Pioneers, contributed three assists this fall for Transy and led one of the conference's top defensive units.  Kelly, a senior midfielder, scored six goals and three assists to pace the TU offense.

A total of 36 players were selected for the All-Great Lakes Region team.
