HCAC Places Six on All-Great Lakes Region Women's Soccer Team
KANSAS CITY, KS - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference placed six women's soccer players on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's All-Great Lakes Region team in a vote of NCAA Division III coaches.
Hanover College's Kaitlin McCulloch (Florence, Ky./Boone Co.) earned the conference's only spot on the first team. McCulloch, a junior back for the Panthers, was named the HCAC Defensive MVP for her efforts this fall. Hanover finished the season 15-3-2 overall.
Earlham College's Ikumi Doucette (Berwyn Heights, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt) and Transylvania University's Elizabeth Schmitt (Ft. Mitchell, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) earned the conference's only spots on the second team. Doucette was named the HCAC Offensive MVP this fall, while Schmitt earned 1st team All-HCAC honors.
Earlham's Joy Doucette (Berwyn Heights, Md./Eleanor Roosevelt) and Transylvania University's Anne Marie Dumaine (California, Ky./Campbell Co.) and Amy Ghibaudy (Lexington, Ky./Catholic) were named as third team members.
A total of 40 players were selected for the All-Great Lakes Region team.
