HCAC Places Five on All-Great Lakes Region Women's Soccer Team

KANSAS CITY, KS - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference placed five women's soccer players on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's All-Great Lakes Region team in a vote of NCAA Division III coaches.

Hanover College's Rachel Alvis (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Anna Cornacchione (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Rose-Hulman's Lucinda Combs (Danville, Ky.) represented the conference on the first team. Cornacchione was named the HCAC Offensive MVP for her efforts this fall, while Alvis earned First-Team All-HCAC honors. Combs was named the conference's Defensive MVP.

Hanover's Abby Shroyer (Zionsville, Ind.) earned the conference's spot on the second team.  Shroyer earned the HCAC Freshman of the Year honor this fall.

Rose-Hulman's Mallory McDevitt (Wapakoneta, Ohio) was named as a third team member. 

A total of 38 players were selected for the All-Great Lakes Region team.
