Eli Baca, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Women's Soccer
Rose-Hulman junior Eli Baca (Santa Fe, N.M./H.S.) rallied the Engineers with three second half goals in an important 3-2 overtime win over Mount St. Joseph and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week.
With the Engineers trailing 2-0 at the half, Baca netted two second half goals and the game-winner in overtime, clinching the No. 1 seed for Rose-Hulman.
The Engineers (8-9, 7-1 HCAC) will play host to Transylvania Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 PM in the HCAC tournament.
