Natalie Downs, Franklin College, Women's Soccer
Franklin College sophomore forward Natalie Downs (Westfield, Ind./Washington) helped the Grizzlies start with a 3-0 record for the first time in school history and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week.
The sophomore scored five goals and added an assist during the opening week of play. Downs produced a hat trick in FC’s 4-1 victory at Eureka, highlighting her week of play.
Franklin (3-0, 0-0 HCAC) will play host to St. Mary-Woods and Millikin this week.
