Rose-Hulman and Franklin Notch 2-0 Marks to Begin HCAC Tennis Season

GREENWOOD, IN - The 2009 HCAC women's tennis season began this past weekend as Franklin and Rose-Hulman notched 2-0 marks after the first set of tri-matches.  The Grizzlies earned wins over Defiance and Mount St. Joseph, while the Engineers were victorious over Anderson and Manchester.

Rose-Hulman's Sam Danesis (Akron, Ohio/Revere) was named the conference's player of the week after posting 2-0 records at No. 1 singles and doubles.

Anderson and Mount St. Joseph each earned a split in their tri-matches, while Defiance and Manchester failed to find the win column.
