Franklin, Transylvania and Rose-Hulman Post 2-0 Marks to Begin HCAC Tennis Season

GREENWOOD, IN - The 2010 HCAC women's tennis season began this past weekend as Franklin, Transylvania, and Rose-Hulman notched 2-0 marks after the first set of tri-matches. The Grizzlies earned wins over Defiance and Mount St. Joseph, Transylvania was perfect against Hanover and Earlham, while the Engineers were victorious over Anderson and Manchester.
Transylvania's Kelsey Fulkerson (Lexington, Ky./Dunbar) was named the conference's player of the week after posting 2-0 records at No. 1 singles and doubles against the Panthers and Quakers.
Hanover, Manchester, and Mount St. Joseph each earned a split in their tri-matches, while Defiance, Earlham, and Anderson failed to find the win column.
