Sam Danesis, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Women's Tennis

Rose-Hulman's Sam Danesis (Akron, Ohio/Revere) turned in an impressive performance at the ITA Regional this past weekend and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the third time. 

The senior reached the quarterfinals with a 3-1 record in singles action and also teamed with Melissa Montgomery to reach the quarterfinals in doubles play with a 2-1 mark. 

Danesis and the rest of the HCAC field will take part in the HCAC Flight Tournament this weekend at West Indy Racquet Club.
