Volleyball Report (Week 7) - Mount Earns Fourth Straight Conference Win

GREENWOOD, IN - Mount St. Joseph notched two conference wins last week to run its win streak to four in league play.  The Lions (15-8, 4-1 HCAC) blanked Franklin 3-0 and defeated Manchester 3-1 in their only two matches last week.

Junior hitter Jamie Grauvogel (Cleves, Ohio/Harrison) smashed a team-high 13 kills and added seven digs in the win over Franklin and led the Mount attack with 14 kills against the Spartans.  MSJ has won six of their past seven matches.

Bluffton remained hot with another perfect week of action.  The Beavers (17-5, 4-0 HCAC) ran their win streak to seven straight with a 3-0 record last week.  BU did not lose a set all week with 3-0 wins over Manchester, Grace, and Otterbein.  Bluffton currently sits atop the league standings with Rose-Hulman.

In other conference action last week...Defiance earned its fourth straight win with a 3-0 win over Anderson.  Rose-Hulman stayed perfect in HCAC play, defeating Transylvania 3-1, while  Hanover moved to 3-2 in conference play with a 3-0 win over Manchester.
