MSJ's Grauvogel Named AVCA NCAA Division III Third Team All-America

LEXINGTON, KY - College of Mount St. Joseph senior outside hitter Jamie Grauvogel (Cleves, Ohio/Harrison) has been named AVCA NCAA Division III Third Team All-America. Grauvogel led the Mount this season in kills (568), hitting percentage (.291) and blocks (70); and was third in service aces and fourth in digs.
The Mount finished the season with a 22-11 overall record, the HCAC Tournament title, an a first place tie in the HCAC regular season standings. The Lions advanced to the NCAA National Tournament where they fell in the first round of the Emory Regional to Washington & Lee University, 3-1.
This is Grauvogel's third straight All-America Award. She was a Second Team selection last season and a Third Team honoree following the 2008 season. Through games of Nov. 14, Grauvogel was sixth in the nation in kills per set (4.66) and ninth in points per set (5.39).
