GREENWOOD, IN - Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology was crowned co-champion at the Rose-Hulman Volleyball Invitational this past weekend. The host Engineers finished alongside Bethany with a 4-0 record.
RHIT (7-3, 0-0 HCAC) earned 3-0 wins over Ohio Wesleyan, Wilmington, and Eureka and a 3-2 win over DePauw.
Senior Morgan Williams (Fenton, Mich./Powers Catholic) was named to the All-Tournament team after her performance. The senior smashed a team-high 43 kills with a .514 hitting percentage for the week, highlighted by a career-high 19 kills against DePauw. Williams also led the team with 13 blocks.
Manchester (6-3, 0-0 HCAC) also competed at Rose-Hulman, finishing with a 3-1 record at the tournament.
Amanda Dickman (Batesville, Ind./Oldenburg Academy) led the Spartans during the week. The junior middle hitter posted 44 kills during the week of play, and had an attack percentage of .337 with four assists, seven aces, 14 digs, 19 solo blocks and 10 assisted blocks, earning a spot on the All-Tournament team.
