GREENWOOD, IN - The College of Mount St. Joseph was the lone school to finish 4-0 at the OAC/HCAC Crossover Tournament over the weekend. The Lions (5-10, 0-0 HCAC) earned wins over Capital, Muskingum, Ohio Northern, and Baldwin Wallace at the tournament.
Mount St. Joseph's Nicole Sherpensky (Cincinnati, Ohio/Northwest) led the Lions offense during the weekend, earning a spot on the All-Tournament team.
Last week, the senior middle hitter had 82 kills (4.32/set) with 26 blocks, 20 digs, 10 service aces, two assists, and a hitting percentage of .311 in five total matches.
Mount St. Joseph will open HCAC play at Rose-Hulman Wednesday evening.

Transylvania University finished the week with a 4-1 overall record. The Pioneers (11-7, 0-0 HCAC) tabbed a 3-1 mark at the OAC/HCAC Crossover in Columbus, Ohio.
Senior Meghan Bowers (Louisville, Ky./Presentation) lead the team in nearly all offensive categories, as the Pioneers earned wins over Spalding, Baldwin-Wallace, Muskingum, and Capital. The senior posted 74 kills, five service aces, and 11 digs during the week.
Transylvania will open HCAC play at home against Rose-Hulman Saturday afternoon.
