Jaclyn Stenger, College of Mount St. Joseph, Volleyball
College of Mount St. Joseph’s Jaclyn Stenger (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) was named to the All-Tournament team at the Washington-St. Louis Halloween Tournament over the weekend and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week.
The junior libero led the Lions to a 2-2 mark during the week, including a 3-0 win over Transylvania to lock down a share of the league title. MSJ also took on three teams at the Washington-St. Louis Tournament, including No. 3 ranked Eastern University and No. 2 ranked Washington-St. Louis.
During the week, Stenger totaled 53 digs (13.25 per match) and added five service aces, four assists, and three kills.
She contributed 17 digs against Eastern and 12 digs against Washington-St. Louis to earn a spot on the All-Tournament team.
Mount (12-18, 7-2 HCAC) earned the No. 2 seed in the upcoming HCAC volleyball tournament at Hanover and will await the winner of Bluffton and Defiance at 5:00 PM Saturday.
