Kate Dangel, Rose-Hulman, Volleyball (Defense)
Rose-Hulman’s Kate Dangel (Upper Arlington, Ohio/H.S.) led the Engineers to wins over Franklin and Manchester this past week and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week on defense for the third time.
The senior led the Rose defense with 42 digs, averaging 7.0 digs per set, as the Engineers swept Franklin and Manchester to secure the No. 4 seed in the upcoming HCAC tournament.
Rose-Hulman (15-17, 5-4 HCAC) will host No. 5 seed Hanover at 7:30 PM Tuesday in the opening round of the HCAC tourney.
