Women's Cross Country Report (Week 4) - Manchester Earns 4th Place Finish in Bloomington

GREENWOOD, IN- The Indiana Intercollegiate meet was held on Friday at Indiana University in Bloomington.  Manchester led the HCAC field with a fourth place finish in the "Small State" standings. 

Sophomore Anna McGowen (Williamsport, Ind./H.S.) led the MU effort with a time of 20:01.67 to take 63rd place in the overall individual standings. 

Hanover, Franklin, Rose-Hulman, Anderson, and Earlham also competed in Bloomington.

The Panthers placed sixth in the team standings, while FC and RHIT finished ninth and 11th overall.  Anderson and Earlham placed 12th and 15th as a team.

Franklin College’s Hillary Cain (Rushville, Ind./H.S.) led the HCAC field at the meet. The junior finished 44th among 201 runners competing at all NCAA Divisions, finishing the 5K course in a time of 19:39.75.

Bluffton, Defiance, and Transylvania traveled to Otterbein University to compete at the Otterbein Invitational Saturday. The Beavers placed 14th overall at the meet, while Defiance and Transy placed 15th and 16th in the 17 team field.

All ten HCAC schools are off this weekend.
