Women's Cross Country Report - Earlham Places Second at Wittenberg Invitational

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Earlham College placed second in the five team field at the Wittenberg Invitational last weekend. The Quakers finished nine points behind first place Denison.

Earlham freshman Ana Sosa-Ebert (Washington, D.C. / Georgetown Day) led the Quakers with a third place finish. The freshman finished the five-kilometer race with a time of 20:20.9

Franklin and Mount St. Joseph competed in Shelbyville, Ind. at the Sodezo Grizzly Invitational last Saturday. The Grizzlies placed second in the meet and were led by freshman Krista Robinson (Greenwood, Ind. / Greenwood). Robinson placed first at the meet with a time of 20:26.34. The Mount St. Joseph Univiersity Lions finished fourth at the invite.

The Hanover College women's cross country team participated in their home invitational and placed second. Bluffton also hosted its home meet last week with Defiance also participating. Bluffton finished fourth out of 10 teams, and the Yellow Jackets finished eighth.

Manchester University hosted its annual home cross country meet, the Hokum Karem, on Friday last week. The Manchester women placed second in the event with the Anderson Ravens following in fourth place.
